Sudan Government Signs Deal Of The Decade

Sudan government has signed the deal of the decade, Authorities on Friday signed a memorandum deal with the United States of America General Electric company. this deal would increase the power plant production in Sudan. This deal is reportedly worth over 900 million dollars.

This deal is a major boost for Sudan and the continent of Africa at large particularly in the power and energy sector, The acting Energy minister Khayri Abdul Rahman, revealed key details about mega deal, “Within the negotiations, we signed this deal support the electricity sector through production units and mobile unit with a capacity of over 200 megawatts.

Speaking further Rahman said this deal will be used in mostly emergency situation, the US company will power over 700 homes with electricity through turbine.

Other African countrieswill be hoping to sign this kind of deal so as to provide electricity for the citizens of their respective country. Electricity has been one common thing that citizens lack, the government would be hoping to put a stop to this.
