Cameroon: Two wounded in Amba fighters’ attack on NW Governor’s convoy

Two civilians are reported to have incurred wounds after Ambazonia fighters attacked the convoy of North West Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique on his way back from Nkambe and Misaje, Dong Mantung Division of the North West region of Cameroon.
According to reports, the Amba attack targeting Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique’s convoy took place Monday October 21, 2019 in Kumbo, Bui Division of the North West region of Cameroon.
Following the attack, two civilians on board a private car that was part of the convoy got injured after their vehicle reportedly landed on a locally made explosive device.
Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique was on his way back from Nkambe and Misaje, Donga Mantung Divisiopn of the North West region of Cameroon where he handed over the Head of State’s security devices to vigilante groups in that part of the country.
Reports say this is not the first time Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique has his convoy attacked by Ambazonia fighters in the North West region since the escalation of the Anglophone crisis.
