Halftime: Chippa United 1-2 Orlando Pirates
Date: 01 February 2020
Venue: Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Orlando Pirates entered the halftime break leading Chippa United 2-1 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, although there could have been more goals.

The Buccanners made three changes, as they welcomed back Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Abel Mabaso and Innocent Maela while Chippa recalled Boikanyo Komane, Gaona Modisane and Elvis Moyo.
Pirates started with a lot of energy and they nearly went ahead in the seventh minute after Gabadinho Mhango was given space to shoot at goal but shot was parried to the post by United goalkeeper Veli Mothwa.
Jozef Zinnbauer’s charges were then awarded a penalty three minutes later after Gregory Damons brought down Maela inside the box. Mhango stepped up and made no mistake from the spot-kick to give the visitors the lead.
The Soweto giants were two goals up in the 20th minute thanks to Mhango, who completed his brace with a composed finish past Mothwa after some good work by Mabaso down the right flank.
The Chilli Boys pulled a goal back just before the half-hour mark after Silas Maziya delivered a cross towards Chidi Kwem, who turned two Pirates defenders and found the back of the net with a strike at the near post.
