‘A Weekend to Forget’ made ₦9.2 million between October 6, 2023 and October 12, 2023. The murder mystery film grossed ₦37.8 million since its debut on September 22, 2023.
The movie also claimed the fourth position on this week’s chart by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN), which is the authorized representative of all Cinema Owners and Operators.
Nigerian director Damola Ademola, in collaboration with Inkblot Productions, made the film ‘A Weekend to Forget’. It is Damola Ademola’s directorial debut and Inkblot Productions’ third feature film this year.
The cast of ‘A Weekend to Forget’ includes Daniel Etim-Effiong, Erica Nlewedim, Ini Dima-Okojie, Stan Nze, Elozonam Ogbolu, Uche Montana, Neo Akpofure and Akin Lewis. Daniel Etim, Stan Nze, and Ini- Dima Okojie, and Uche Montana, are regular actors of ‘A Weekend to Forget’.
The movie teaches several moral lessons. However, most characters get entangled in extramarital affairs in the movie.
