Actor C Confion has passed away

The Ghanaian entertainment industry is in deep mourning following the sudden death of Bright Owusu, better known as C Confion. The talented comic and sketch actor passed away in the early hours of 20 December 2024, after battling a brief but serious illness.

C Confion, a much-loved member of Dr Likee’s comedy team, was being treated at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. Despite the strenuous efforts of the medical staff and the support of his family and colleagues, he tragically lost his fight for life. His death was announced in a press release from AK ebenezer production.

Due to his exceptional comedic talent and captivating performances, C. Confion was a rising star who brought laughter to countless households with his popular online sketches. 

The news of his death broke the hearts of his fans and colleagues. Tributes across the country have highlighted his humility, dedication and unparalleled contribution to the entertainment industry. Many have expressed their sadness at the void her absence leaves behind.
