AFCON 2019: The Squirrels maintain 100% record

Benin held Cameroon to their third draw in the Group F as they maintained 100% unbeaten record in the entire group matches played at this stage of the AFCON tournament as they played a goalless draw against the Indomitable Lions.
Cameroon had couples of Chances to break the deadlock but the squandered the opportunities to do so in the early minutes of the clash.
The three Lions dominated the game with series of good passes around the Benin Republic midfield but they lack what it takes to put the ball at the back of the net.
Benin almost scrambled a ball into the net but Cameroon goalkeeper Onana was just at the right place to prevent the ball from entering the net.
The Squirrels made it difficult for Cameroon to penetrate their defence as they ensured the likes of Choup Moting, Anguissa and Bassogog are kept silent in the opening 35 minutes of the encounter.
Cameroon was unable to break the defence of Benin in the opening 45 minutes as the first half ended 0-0.
Cameroon put in some decent display against Benin Republic but the Squirrels were able to manage the Indomitable Lions after 60 minutes of play.
The game ended 0-0 as Cameroon was relegated to the second spot of the Group F standing.
