Jack Ma, Chinese business magnate, on Monday announced the second donation of medical equipment to 54 countries in Africa.
Ma, the wealthiest person in China as of March 2020, with a net worth of $42.3 billion, made the announcement via his verified Twitter handle.
According to Ma, the second donation will include 500 ventilators, 200,000 suits, and face shields. Ma also thanked the Prime minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed, and other organizations for their partnership.
Jack Ma wrote: “Our second donation to 54 countries in Africa is on the way. That includes 500 ventilators, 200K suits & face shields, 2K thermometers, 1M swabs & extraction kits and 500K gloves.
