Situation in South Africa has turned violent in recent days as the threat extremist or vigilante groups poses in the country.
Things escalated towards the safety of people as well as human rights after South African police announced that one man has been killed by anti-immigrant protesters. The disturbance in the nation resulted in authorities to quickly consider appointing security to ensure stability.
The killing occurred in the Gauteng province and hence the premier, David Makhura, said, “We don’t want and we can’t support any South African who takes the law into their own hands.”
The official was also accompanied by a Home Affairs team where they went from door to door to identify the person who was involved in this.
“It is not the job of anybody to do but law enforcement agents. Once anyone is allowed to do that, innocent people are going to be killed,” he added. The South African media also stressed that the victim of the crime was a Zimbabwean immigrant. It was said that he was murdered in the same towanship he was found.
