Extending Compassion and Support
The Big Heart Foundation has initiated the “I Am Human” campaign as a response to the escalating crises and wars in Gaza and Sudan. This humanitarian campaign aims to collect zakat and alms funds during the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign emphasizes the importance of human values, empathy, and responsibility towards those affected by exceptional circumstances. Through solidarity, compassion, and giving, the campaign aims to improve the lives of innocent families and children in crisis areas.
The “I Am Human” campaign seeks to provide immediate relief to displaced and needy families facing harsh conditions in Gaza and Sudan. Emergency aid includes food support and temporary shelter for families affected by the Israeli war on Gaza. Through a donation of only 100 dirhams, a family of five can receive essential resources and foodstuffs. Additionally, a donation of 500 dirhams allows for the provision of temporary shelter equipment and supplies for a family of the same size in both Gaza and Sudan.
The campaign also places importance on supporting the education sector, particularly by offering scholarships to students residing in the United Arab Emirates and affiliated with the Big Heart Educational Center in Sharjah. A donation of 7,000 dirhams can provide a scholarship for one student, enabling them to complete their educational career at the center for a full academic year. By prioritizing education, the campaign aims to give these students hope for a better future.
The success of the “I Am Human” campaign relies heavily on collaboration and partnerships. The Big Heart Foundation is working closely with local and international organizations on the ground in Gaza and Sudan to ensure that the funds collected are distributed effectively and reach the most vulnerable families. These partnerships also allow for a more coordinated and comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of those affected by the crises.
In addition to collecting funds, the “I Am Human” campaign aims to raise awareness about the ongoing crises in Gaza and Sudan. By sharing stories and testimonies from individuals affected by these situations, the campaign seeks to humanize the experiences of those living in conflict zones and emphasize the urgency of providing support. The campaign also advocates for peace, justice, and international cooperation to address the root causes of these crises and prevent further suffering.
While the immediate relief provided through the campaign is crucial, the Big Heart Foundation also recognizes the importance of sustainable solutions. Through partnerships and long-term initiatives, the foundation aims to support local communities in Gaza and Sudan in rebuilding their lives and developing resilience. This includes initiatives focused on economic empowerment, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
The “I Am Human” campaign launched by the Big Heart Foundation during Ramadan aims to provide immediate relief, food support, shelter, and educational scholarships to families affected by the crises in Gaza and Sudan.
