Braking: Alpha Conde Win Guinea Presidential Elections

Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 08:18 am

Alpha Conde has been declared winner of Guinea Presidential elections that took place on Sunday in the country’s capital, Conakry. He was declared winner by the electoral college in Guinea.

The presidential election was between Alpha Conde and Cellou Diallo but Conde defeated Diallo easily, Conde will definitely be the country’s president for a third term.

Resistance up-and-comer Cellou Diallo got 33.50% of the vote, the appointive commission said. Elector turnout was practically 80%.

Political pressures in the West African country turned fierce as of late after Diallo asserted triumph in front of the official outcomes. Festivities by his allies were smothered when security powers terminated poisonous gas to scatter them.

There were complains from Diallo about election rigging by Conde but that seems not to be the case has Conde defeated Diallo with more than 60% of the total vote.
