Breaking: Jacob Zuma Ignores Anti-corruption Commission

Former president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma has decided to boycott the anti-corruption commission, Zuma was scheduled to make an appearance at commission, The former president is being investigated for possible corruption.

Cathleen Powell is an Associate Professor in open law at the University of Cape Town. She said if Zuma doesn’t react to the summon of the Zondo commission, ”he’s perpetrated a wrongdoing’.

“I don’t have a clue what the Constitutional Court will do, however while it says nothing, Zuma is still, under law, needed to react to the summon of the Zondo Commission, and in the event that he doesn’t, he’s perpetrated a wrongdoing for which he can be indicted and detained”, Powell said.

The previous South African president affirmed just a single time before the commission in July 2019. In any case, Zuma pulled out following a couple of days. He contended that he was being treated as a denounced and a not an observer.
