Business: Absa Excludes Dividends In South Africa

A South African company bin the name of Absa Group has declared that the company wouldn’t bee paying fund in an attempt to save cash due to the impact of the Covid-19.

Profit before one-time things and bookkeeping changes will presumably decay in excess of 40% from a year sooner, Johannesburg-based Absa said in an assertion on Thursday.

Company’s in Africa and the World are struggling to recover from the impact of the Covid-19, they have drawn various plans to cut cost such as laying of staffs, coming up with a payment scheme and also taking salary cut just to cushion the effect of the virus.
