The Champions League is a grand football tournament held every year in Europe and organized by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations). It is one of the most famous tournaments across the globe where from Europe top football clubs compete against each other to win the title of champions.
On 07 May 2024, Borussia Dortmund competed against Paris Saint-Germain. Borussia Dortmund beat PSG and finalized its position in the finals. The victory of Borussia Dortmund led them to the finals after 11 years since 2013. Dortmund was considered the weaker team despite their 1-0 lead from the first leg. Dortmund beat PSG by 1-0 in the Champions League Semi-final. PSG and Dortmund competed against each other at the Parc des Princes.
In the first half, PSG was in the lead and had many opportunities to score goals but the team failed to score. Eventually, in the first half, both PSG and Borussia Dortmund failed to score a goal and the match remained a tie.

Luis Enrique the coach of PSG decided to place Kylian Mbappe on the left side and Goncalo Ramos as the central striker but Kylian did not have an impact on the overall match while playing on the wings and Dortmund’s team played their game well and ensured to lock the central striker.
Borussia Dortmund will play the final against the winner of the second semi-final match between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. At the Allianz Arena where both the teams competed the match was tied with the score of 2-2. Now both teams will compete against each other on 09 May Thursday at Santiago Bernabeu. Whichever team wins this semi-final will face off Borussia Dortmund in the finals.
