Champions Trophy 2025: Teams Prepare for Semifinal Travel Logistics

Before playing India in the 2025 Champions Trophy semifinals both South Africa and Australia have chosen to travel to Dubai. Both Australia and South Africa are working out match scheduling issues even though one team has locked up their position and the other is almost there.

The cricket resource shows that both the South African team and their Australian counterparts have left directly from their group matches to Dubai. The International Cricket Council creates the travel arrangement ahead of the March 4 semifinals because the participating team needs sufficient time to prepare for India. The fast approach to the semifinals from the league phase created this special travel arrangement. If Afghanistan qualifies for the tournament they also would follow the same travel schedule to Dubai.

The group placing between India and New Zealand establishes the remaining semifinal pairings. New Zealand gets to play in Lahore during the second semifinal because India selected to skip games in Pakistan so they take their playoff spot in Dubai. India will defend their title in Dubai when they reach the semifinal while New Zealand would play their last match at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
