COVID-19: Rwanda and Malawi Shutdown Schools Over Coronavirus Fears

The government authorities of both Rwanda and Malawi has decided to shutdown schools over surge in coronavirus cases in the respective countries. There has been a spike in coronavirus cases in Africa in recent weeks with the vaccine not yet in full distribution across the continent.

Rwanda shut schools simply in the capital Kigali yet the instruction serve said schools in different districts would likewise close if more cases are affirmed there.

It comes after schools returned in November following eight months of being shut.

Malawi said it would close schools for in any event 15 days and declared all bars will likewise close at 8 pm.
