Social media platform X, previously Twitter, will soon come up with xAI integration. Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI will also get a new app soon. Elon Musk’s startup xAI’s integration into the X app will help to transfer the social media platform into an ‘everything app’.
In July, Elon Musk launched his artificial intelligence startup xAI. He expressed hope to build an alternative to ChatGPT, an AI chatbot developed by the American AI research laboratory OpenAI. Tech billionaire announced his plan for building a safer AI.
Recently, Elon Musk said that xAI would be integrated into the official X app. Elon Musk wrote on social media platform X, “It will both be built into the 𝕏 app and be available as a standalone app.” He confirmed about xAI’s integration into the X app.
AI startup xAI already has talented engineers. Elon Musk has confirmed that xAI would seek to create a “maximally curious” AI.
Previously, Elon Musk predicted that a smarter AI than humans would arrive in five or six years. He also predicted that AI will eventually surpass human intelligence.
On 5 November, xAI’s first AI model, Grok, was launched. Grok can compete with other major programmes such as ChatGPT, Bard and Bing.
xAI said in a post, “Grok is an AI modeled after the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, so intended to answer almost anything and, far harder, even suggest what questions to ask!“
Tech billionaire Elon Musk also said that the AI chatbot would have a bit of humor. He demonstrated the humor part of the AI chatbot by making jokes about FTX founder Sam Bankman Fried to Grok. In a conversation, Grok gave a sarcastic response to Elon Musk’s questions.
Grok is available to a selected number of social media users under the xAI early access programme. Grok will soon be available to all X Premium+ users. Only verified X users can use Grok.
