Emirates SkyCargo and Astral Aviation Join Forces to Enhance African Trade Network

Emirates SkyCargo establishes better Africa market connections by partnering with Astral Aviation at Air Cargo Africa. At Air Cargo Africa, Emirates SkyCargo worked together with Astral Aviation when they signed an MoU to combine their shipping connections. Through the partnership Emirates SkyCargo can offer services to 145 locations around the world at 50 destinations served by Astral Aviation.

Through an agreement signed by Emirates SkyCargo and Astral Aviation executives, the two companies will enhance cargo interline operations and set up block space deals. Because Africa stands out for its fast-growing economies the partnership of these airlines helps their businesses reach new heights. Both companies have unique experience shipping fresh products and medicines which play an essential role in African trade.

The UAE-Kenya CEPA agreement provides a good opportunity for this partnership as it aims to develop both countries’ markets through joint projects in agricultural and infrastructure sectors plus healthcare and renewable energy. Badr Abbas made a statement to illustrate our business dedication to this market through our Astral Aviation partnership.
