Entertainment: I was dealing with a personal issue – Burna Boy

Widely Acclaimed Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy, has explained the rationale in the back of his absence at some point of the End SARS protests throughout the country.

Burna Boy said he was dealing with a private household problem at the commencing of the protests, including that his mom had serious surgery final week.

We recall that Nigerians throughout the nation have been protesting the illegality and unconstitutional things to do of SARS operatives.

Nigerian musicians such as Davido, Wizkid and other entertainers have been considered at the protest ground on Sunday in Abuja, calling for the end of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

However, the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu on Sunday, announced the disbandment of SARS, following days of on line and offline protests.

Reacting to the development, Burna Boy, in a tweet by using his Twitter cope with on Monday said he was once busy in making positive that his mother recovers.

I was dealing with a personal issue that’s was why I didn’t join the protest earliar enough, I placed billboard all over Lagos so as to make my voice heard.
