Four Suspects Arrested in Connection With Murder of US-Based Ghanaian Rapper

Four persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of US-based Ghanaian rapper, Nana Yaw Opoku, alias Junior US.

The 33-year-old was shot in the chest on April 18 at his apartment in Southwest Philadelphia, USA, and died at the scene.

Three of the suspects were arrested in May and June, while the fourth suspect was arrested on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

The suspects are 16-year-old Christina P. Zogar, 20-year-old Tejan Sherif, 21-year-old Abdoulaye Doucoure and 22-year-old Alfred D. Bargor.

They have been charged with murder, robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of an instrument of crime and related offences.

The four were arrested after the release of a surveillance video showing three women inside the victim’s apartment gathered around a table eating.
