Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 03:13 pm

Ghana has been labelled as a high-risk country for travellers in terms of medical problems and road safety.

An interactive map, ‘Travel Risk Map’ designed for travellers that alerts them of risks abroad reveals however, that Ghana is one of the safest places on earth.

Libya and Somalia are the most dangerous places for travellers; while the safest places are Finland, Norway and Iceland.

The map was being launched by international medical and security specialists, International SOS.

Libya and Somalia both ranked lowly in each of the three categories – medical problems, road safety and security- along with Afghanistan and Venezuela, meaning they are the most dangerous.
