ICYMI: Falz, Teni Win Big At Headies Awards 2019

Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana, Nigerian Afropop rapper, and Teniola Apata, fast-rising singer better known as Teni, were among the biggest winners at the 13th Headies Awards.
Falz won in the ‘Best Rap Single’ and ‘Best Rap Album’ categories among others while Teni emerged winner in the ‘Best Vocal Performance’, ‘Best Recording For The Year’ and ‘Best Pop Single’ categories among others.
Other artistes who won are: Johnny Drille; Burna Boy, Barry Jhay, Yemi Alade, Burna Boy and Zlatan Ibile.
The award ceremony took place on Saturday night at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island Lagos.
The 13th edition of the Headies, formerly known as the Hip Hop World award, was hosted by Nancy Isime, an actress and TV host; and Reminisce, renowned rap star.
