Mudavadi, who also serves as the Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Cabinet Secretary, stressed the importance of Africa’s active participation in shaping the world’s technological future.
“We must ensure that we are running fast enough not to be left behind,” Mudavadi stated, highlighting the need for Africa to keep pace with global technological advancements. He further urged President William Ruto to continue investing in technology to ensure that Africa remains connected and never left behind.
President Ruto, speaking at the same event, expressed his satisfaction with the progress his administration has made in digitizing 80 percent of government services. This significant achievement demonstrates Africa’s commitment to embracing technology and leveraging its potential for growth.
