Ivory Coast: President Ouattara Nominated For Third Term

President Ouattara on Wednesday requested for extra time to consider the nomination, indicating he would announce his decision in a speech to the country on August 6.

The opposition has been towards the president’s push for a 0.33 term. Ivory Coast is due to keep elections on October 31, and the electoral fee has promised a honest election.
