The government authorities in Cameroon has decided to rescue a holy fig tree from obliteration, the holy fig tree was initially marked for destruction before the government authorities intervened.
The tree had been set apart for chopping down to clear a path for an interstate to ease clog in the city, however preservationists and tree darlings dissented.
It was then due to be evacuated and later moved to a more secure climate, yet the public objection proceeded until the official pronouncement to save it was requested on Thursday.
The holy tree will now be considered as a national pride for the citizens of Kenya, the name of this holy tree is called ‘Mugumo’. Many fig tree has been cut down in the past but somehow this holy fig tree was spared.
