Liberia Senatorial Election: Resistance Candidate lead In Early Outcomes

The opposition candidate seems to be edging out other candidates in the Liberia Senatorial Election according to the early result released so far.

Talking at a Press gathering, director of the National Elections Commission (NEC), Davidetta Brown Lansannah, said “The Liberian public can be have confidence that the Commission will precisely declare the aftereffects of the political race as communicated by the individuals through the polling booth.”

The mid-term decisions are viewed as a trial of help for Weah, a previous football symbol who has confronted analysis as president over continuing financial issues.

The resistance is likewise driving in the nation’s biggest district, Montserrado, which is home to the capital Monrovia, just as the vast majority of the electors in the country.

The Election was on Tuesday morning, this was one of the most peaceful election in the history of Liberia. The Liberian government had earlier promised a free and fair election.
