Google is launching its new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones today, October 4th. They’re holding a special event “Made By Google 2023” for it in New York. You can watch it online from your smartphone or computer!
The event starts at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, which is 7:00 AM Pacific Time and 4:00 PM in our South African Standard Time (SAST). So, make sure to tune in at that time to see all the new stuff Google has in store.
To watch it online, you can visit the Google event page on the internet. It’s super easy to find, and you’ll be able to see everything as it happens.
If you prefer watching on YouTube, no problem! Google is also streaming the event on their official YouTube channel.
And don’t worry if you can’t watch it live – they’ll probably put up a recording of the event for you to watch later.
This time, Google is really focusing on making their cameras and artificial intelligence (AI) even better. You can expect some awesome features on the new Pixel phones.
So, mark your calendar for today, and don’t forget to check out the Pixel 8 launch online. It’s likely to be a great show!
Google is releasing two new smartphones called Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 8 will have a 6.17-inch screen, while the Pro version will come with a bigger 6.7-inch screen that’s super sharp.
Both Pixel 8 phones will have awesome cameras that can take great pictures in low light. They’re also getting new AI tricks like Best Take and Audio Eraser to make your photos and videos even better.
They both (Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro) have a special chip called Tensor G3 that makes them smarter, especially for things like AI. But here’s the thing, they might be a bit more expensive this time, starting at $699 for Pixel 8 and $899 for Pixel 8 Pro.
Next, there’s the Pixel Watch 2. It’s a smartwatch with a cool OLED screen and new health features like stress management and heart rate tracking. It’s like having a fitness tracker and a smartwatch in one.
If you’re into Pixel Buds, there might be new colors, like Porcelain and Sky Blue.
Lastly, Google is bringing out Android 14, which will make your Pixel phone even cooler with colorful themes and improved settings.
