ZANU PF political commissar, Victor Matemadanda has criticised former first lady, Grace Mugabe’s ungratefulness to “generosity” president Emmerson Mnangagwa showed to her.
Matemadanda claims that despite benefitting from Mnangagwa’s generosity, Grace was conniving with members of Generation 40 (G40) party to plot the downfall of the president. Speaking to the Chronicle in an interview in Bulawayo, Matemadanda said:
Here you have some lady who has been keeping the corpse in her bedroom, when her mother died, the President had to charter a plane to get her so that she buries her mother and she sings praises ‘ah vaMnangagwa vakanaka ah I didn’t know, he is like an angel’ but only six days ago she was in a meeting with these fools planning on how they think they can overthrow this government.
His remarks come as reports suggest that exiled loyalists to the former first family, including Saviour Kasukuwere and Jonathan Moyo were pushing an agenda to dislodge Mnangagwa from power.
Matemadanda said that the ruling ZANU PF will not be concerned by the reports describing Kasukuwere and Moyo as common souls who had no capacity to unseat Mnangagwa.
