Burna Boy is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and performing artist. His real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR. During his recent concert at MSG, he made history by becoming the first African artist to headline the world’s most famous arena. He has reportedly received multiple Grammy nominations for his songs. He became popular in 2012 after releasing the “Like to Party” album. He won South South Music Awards and Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2013. He also won various awards at Soundcity MVP Awards Festival. He is one of the most awarded artists in Africa.

2) Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. She began her music career doing backup vocals for artists like George Michael and Mary J. Blige. She won the African Video of the year award at the Soundcity MVP Awards in 2020. She also won MTV Europe Music Awards. In 2014, she won the Musician of The Year (Female) award. 

3) Diamond Platnumz

Diamond Platnumz is a Tanzanian musician, artist, dancer, philanthropist and businessman. He is the CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, Wasafi Bet and Wasafi Media. His real name is Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack. He won the Music Video Of The Year award at Afro X Digital Awards. He also won various awards for his song Kidogo. He was also one of the few African musicians to be nominated for the BET Awards 2021. He was also nominated for the BET Awards in 2012 for the best international act in Africa.

Salif Keita is referred to as the “Golden Voice of Africa”. He is a Malian singer-songwriter. He won the Best Traditional World Music Album award for Ali and Tounani in 2011. He also won the award for Best Traditional World Music Album for In the Heart of the Moon. He also won the Best International Act at BET Awards.
