Mugabe Burial Shrine Construction Process Begins

Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 03:24 pm

The government has started the process of constructing the mausoleum where former President Mugabe’s remains will be interred it has emerged. This was revealed by Mr Nick Mangwana who spoke to journalists at the national stadium yesterday when he said designing the shrine for the burial had begun.

Mangwana said:

I don’t know when the engineers will be done with the construction but the engineers have already started designing…..I think people are getting sensational about 30 days. I think what Leo (Mugabe, family spokesperson) was trying to say is that it may take us up to 30 days but this doesn’t mean it will take exactly 30 days without being completed, ….I also don’t know where the body will be during the time of construction.

On Friday it was reported that Mugabe will be buried in October after a mausoleum has been built for him at the national heroes acre.
