President Alpha Conde of Guinea has won the presidential election for a third term in office. The supreme court reaffirmed Conde’s victory in the just concluded election. This announcement was made in the late hours of Saturday.
The resistance guaranteed inconsistencies in the October 18 vote yet the court said the resistance created no proof.
Conde’s principle rival Cellou Dalein Diallo got 33.5 percent, the court said.
