NEWS: Egypt, China sign protocol on Chinese teaching in Egyptian schools

Egypt and China signed on Monday a cooperation protocol to teach the Chinese language in pre-university faculties in Egypt as a 2nd non-compulsory foreign language.

The protocol was once signed by means of the Egyptian Minister of Education Tarek Shawki and the Chinese Ambassador to Cairo Liao Liqiang.

“Egypt is keen to advantage from the unique Chinese experience in economic development as well as other fields,” Shawki said throughout the signing ceremony.

He added that Egyptian-Chinese ties are deeply rooted as Egypt was once the first Arab and African united states of america to establish diplomatic members of the family with China in 1956.

“Today’s agreement represents an illuminating picture of the wonderful and fruitful family members between the two pleasant countries, which we usually attempt to support and aid by all capability to acquire the preferred goals,” Shawki said.

The minister said the Chinese facet helps the ministry in many areas such as organising photo voltaic strength plant life in schools, organising workshops for technical education, installing electronic displays in secondary colleges nationwide, and organising smart classrooms.

Liao mentioned that the integration of Chinese educating into the Egyptian national education gadget reflects the vision of the Egyptian government.

“Similarly, China will similarly open up education to the outdoor world to facilitate people-to-people exchanges between the two international locations and pave the way for building a China-Egypt community with a shared future,” he added.

“We are inclined to work with Egypt to implement the agreement step by means of step and strengthen cooperation in enhancing the proficiency of teachers, enriching Chinese educating materials, optimizing teaching methods, and compiling syllabus,” the ambassador said.
