NEWS: More Resentment in South Africa Over Police Violence in Nigeria

Thousands of individual took to the street is South Africa to express their resentment over the police violence in Nigeria and also the shooting of protesters who weren’t armed in Lekki on Tuesday.

The army as debunked the news report that claimed they were responsible for shooting close to 1000 people and the reported killings of more than 49 citizens who weren’t armed.

Another gathering of around 1000 individuals in Cape Town, generally Nigerian nationals, pledged to keep picketing until there was change in Nigeria.

Notable South African rap star AKA voiced solidarity with the individuals of Nigeria, saying: “By what method can individuals shoot to KILL their own comrades and ladies?”

“This is crazy… Sending adoration and solidarity to Naija,” AKA tweeted to his 4.6 million devotees.

South African resistance, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), swore its “good and political solidarity” with Nigerians and approached the legislature to get control over its military and security administrations

There’s been no public address from the president of the country. South Africa and Nigeria had dispute in the time past but that seems no to be the case as thousands match to voice their displeasure
