Two Former General in Angola has been mentioned in participating in a large corruption scheme, this comes as a surprise to many who has been left surprise due to the officers been well respected and well decorated.
Angola opened the hearing of two excessive rating army officers, General “Kopelipa” and General “Dino”, who are accused of participating in a giant corruption scandal.
Thanks to their attorney both Generals Helder Vieria Dias, aka Kopelipa, et Leopoldino Do Nascimento, regarded as “Dino” managed to escape journalists backyard the Attorney General’s Office in capital city Luanda.
Their lawyer declined to remark the case that has been making headlines in Angola.
Kopelipa the former head of the military house, and General Dino ex- head of communications of the Angolan Armed forces , stand accused of embezzlement, cash laudering, and fraud.
In a case associated to a 2.5 billion dollar line of credit opened with the aid of Angola’s Industrial and Commercial Bank to the China International Fund (CIF), each Generals close to the Former President José Eduardo Dos Santos are said to have diverted massive sums of cash for their personal benefit.
The two guys are accused of having preferred the buy of real estate, by using a Chinese fund, using nation money.
