South Africa’s Health minister, Zweli Mkhize and his wife Dr May Mkhize have tested positive for COVID-19. This comes as a surprise as only a few days ago Mkhize tested negative for the virus.
In posts on Twitter, Mkhize said he and his significant other went for the test on Saturday when they began to feel the manifestations of the infection.
“I was feeling unusually depleted and as the day advanced, I began losing craving”, Mkhize composed.
“My significant other had a hack, was lightheaded and very depleted. Given her side effects, the specialists prompted that she should be conceded for perception.
“Our nearby contacts in the previous week have been a couple of our relatives and a portion of my Health Ministry group.
Mkhize however said COVID-19 safety protocols used be observed with all seriousness. He said citizens of South Africa used beware of the novel virus, he also clamoured for social distancing, putting on a faceask and using hand sanitizer before a vaccine is developed and circulated to the continent at large.
