The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, to resign his position immediately.

This is following a statement made by the Minister which has stirred reactions.

DAILY POST had reported that Fashola, who was a former Governor of Lagos State had insisted that Nigerian roads are not as bad as being portrayed.

He stated this while addressing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday.

“The roads are not as bad as they are often portrayed. I know that this is going to be your headline, but the roads are not that bad,” Fashola had said.
