Nigeria are set to receive a whopping 100,000 doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, this according to the health official in the country. The proposed date for the arrival of the vaccine is scheduled for late February.
Nigeria has discovered a route however through its super virus chain gear.
“What we do have going to the nation is the Pfizer antibodies that need about – 70 degrees Celsius,” said Dr Faisal Shuaib, chief general of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHDA)
“This is the reason we are effectively ensuring that we have those antibodies and furthermore remembering that extra immunizations may be brought from the Covax office that will require these sorts of temperatures.”
As per Shuaib, the NPHDA as of now has three Ultra Cold Chain (UCC) gear on the ground
