Nigerian duo named in Genk’s 21-man squad for Liverpool tie

Nigerian duo of Paul Onuachu and Stephen Odey have been named in KRC Genk’s 21-man squad for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool at Luminus Arena.
The 25-year-old Super Eagles striker who joined the Belgian side from Danish club FC Midtjylland on transfer deadline day last summer, where he went to score four goals in five league appearances for Blue-White
Onuachu has made one appearance for Genk in the UEFA Champions League, while his fellow compatriot and Odey will be hoping to make his debut for the home side in the club’s most prestigious competition.
Former MFM forward who switched from FC Zurich of Switzerland during the off-season has made three three league appearances for Genk but the Nigeria U23 star has found back of the net once in the 3-0 victory over SK Ronse in the Belgian Cup.
Onuachu and Odey included in the 21-man squad for Liverpool encounter after the club unveiled the list via their social media handle.

Genk are bottom of Group E with a point after two rounds of matches while Liverpool are second with three points behind leaders Napoli, who have four points. Salzburg are third on three points.
