The festival, which will last for 10 days, aims to showcase the best of Nigeria’s creative film and entertainment industry to the world.
It will bring together key figures from the film and television industry as well as stakeholders from across Nigeria and beyond.
The theme for ZUFF 2023 is “Cultural Convergence.” The festival will focus on exploring the potential and opportunities that arise from the convergence of diverse cultures through the audio-visual medium.
The program for the festival includes daily film screenings, film master classes, symposia, a film and television market, content creation and exhibition forums, film project pitching sessions, co-production engagements, an annual film lecture, special days for states and foreign nations, special lifetime tributes, Zuma awards, and the second leg of the Nigeria-South Africa Film Festival.
The Zuma Film Festival is a collaborative partnership between the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and the Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC). This will be the second edition of the festival under this 10-year partnership.
The NFC’s director of public affairs, Brian Etuk, expressed confidence that the event will be a success, following the positive reception of the 2022 edition and recognizing the global importance of such an activity.

The festival will serve as an avenue to celebrate their achievements.
Further details, including the call for film entries and the submission process, will be announced to the public soon.
