NPFL Playoffs: Ten men Enugu Rangers held Kano Pillars

Ten men Enugu Rangers held Kano Pillars to 1-1 scored draw at the Agege Stadium in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super Six encounter on Monday.
Kano Pillars took the lead through a well-taken free kick by skipper Rabiu Ali, but the Flying Antelope were awarded a controversial penalty in the dying moments of the contest and Godwin Aguda put it away.
Rangers already a goal down are now down to ten men after Tope Olusesi receives a second caution for a late challenge on Nyima Nwagua.
Pillars have a chance to get the Insurance goal after good work by Nyima Nwagua but Rabiu Ali’s effort is deflected wide as north team players want a penalty but the referee is having none of it.
Rangers are given a spot-kick for a foul on Ifeanyi Egwim but Aguda coolly converts, sending Ayeleso the wrong direction with five minutes of stoppage time but angry supporters of Pillars invaded the Agege Stadium pitch as Rabiu Ali openly confronted the referee even after his teammates tried to deter him.
