Oshiomhole visits Buhari’s Chief of Staff

Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 02:59 pm

Adams Oshiomhole on Monday visited the Chief of Staff (CoS) to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, it was learnt.

Not a few Nigerians often view Kyari as part of the cabal wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, once claimed hijacked her husband’s administration.

But the Presidency has constantly debunked the claim, insisting that Buhari remained in charge of his government.

The reason Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) visited Kyari is not yet known.

However, there are speculations that his visit may not be unconnected with his current travails in the ruling party.

The embattled APC chairman’s visit to Kyari is coming just a day before the meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

The meeting is expected to look into the crisis in the party and resolve it if Oshiomhole will continue as the party chairman or not.

Meanwhile, the Appeal Court in Abuja, earlier on Monday failed to hear Oshiomhole’s appeal challenging his suspension.
