Mamelodi Sundowns are already underway with day three of preparations in Egypt ahead of Saturdays clash.
The Brazilians will lock horns with Al Ahly in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals and jetted out to Egypt five days before the clash in order to prepare accordingly.
Speaking to the media from Egypt, this is how the first few days went for Head Coach Pitso Mosimane:
“As much as we left on a Monday we arrived only on Tuesday, upon arrival we had breakfast and there was nothing more to do other than rest. Day one is our rest day. There is not much we can do on day one because we travelled overnight,” he said.
“On Day 2, we had a good sleep the night before and back to reality and the normal life. After lunch we had our video analysis, checking the opponents, who are they, what is their strength.
“The training was not bad, we were well received, we trained at Petro Sport stadium, a stadium we have some history. The pitch is deteriorated but they gave us the best that they can,” Mosimane added.
