Politics: Bobi Wine office Raided By Security Personnels In Uganda

Bobi Wine office has been raised by security forces in Uganda, The security forces seized his campaign material and other items,

Uganda’s security forces on Wednesday raided the offices of opposition politician and pop celebrity Bobi Wine and seized archives and marketing campaign materials.

Wine, a famous musician who is searching for Uganda’s presidency in elections set for 2021, said in a tweet that closely armed police “besieged” his campaign headquarters” on Wednesday morning.

Bobi Wine, whose actual name is Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, was once meeting with different leaders of his National Unity Platform birthday celebration when the police swooped in.

Wine, who has been arrested a couple of times in current years, continues calling for President Yoweri Museveni to retire.

In a tweet on Wednesday, the spokesperson of Uganda’s military stated protection forces sought to get better pink berets and different military-style articles that have been being stored at Bobi Wine’s offices.
