Vote counting has begun after the October 18 presidential election in Guinea, voting closed late in the evening.
The counting of the vote is said to take place after the Elections are concluded so that there wouldn’t be chaos amongst the over 5.4 million people that registered for the Elections initially, which has been extreme considering current president Alpha Condé is looking for a questionable third term.
Ibrahim Camara, the top of the surveying station in Matam, depicted the vote turnout, “many individuals partook, we had a larger number of citizens than non-electors, as in earlier years.”
Mbalia Touré, the agent top of the surveying station in Matam, shared a comparative feeling, “many individuals came, so far we have utilized multiple packs of polling form papers. What’s more, every bundle has 100 polling forms, we are at 300 and something, around there.”
Fingers are crossed in determining the outcome of the highly anticipated Election, who will come out victorious is it Alpha Conde seeking a third term in office or Conde’s long time rival Cellou Dalein Diallo who is seeking to be freshly elected into the electoral position.
