President Alpha Conde of Guinea has visited the the injured while the resistance denounced the election results that declared Alpha Conde as the winner of the presidential election.
Guinean resistance pioneer Cellou Dalein Diallo said Wednesday that a bar of his home, forced by the security powers following turbulent official decisions on October 18, had been lifted.
“We found on the stroke of early afternoon that we could go in and out. They got together abruptly, similarly that they had come,” Diallo told the press.
Police blockaded the lawmaker in his home in the capital Conakry after he announced triumph a day after the vote – a case denied by the administration and which prompted deadly conflicts.
On Tuesday, arbiters from the UN, African Union and local coalition ECOWAS approached the “safety efforts” around Diallo’s home to be lifted “in the soul of comprehensive discourse.”
President Conde has called for calm in Guinea today ashe paid visit to the injured citizens of the country.
