Presidential Election has begun in Seychelles as voters has started casting votes for the next president of the country and senators. Seychelles are amongst the countries like Guinea and Ivory Coast to organise a presidential election.

The vote will stumble into three days over the islands.

Faure is confronting two adversaries. The principle one is Wavel Ramkalawan of the Linyon Democratik Seselwa (Seychelles Democratic Alliance) resistance, the lion’s share party in parliament in the wake of winning 19 of 34 seats in the last political decision.

He is an Anglican minister and has run for president multiple times

Yet, the resistance groups have not figured out how to join in this political decision.

The other applicant is Alain St Ange, who was in the resistance before joining the administration the travel industry serve.

He is running for the One Seychelles party which he made a year back.

The primary worry for the electors is the economy, which has eased back due to the Covid pandemic.

It is difficult to predict the outcome of the presidential election and national assembly. as various candidate are soliciting for votes.
