In 2025 the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) announced its designated dates for social grant payments that benefits millions of vulnerable people nationwide. SASSA has chosen specific dates to send social aid money on time and maintain smooth operations.

Key Payment Dates for Different Grant Categories

The arrival schedule of your social grant payment depends on the type of grant you have. The South African government will distribute Old Age Grants on April 3 followed by Disability Grants on April 4 in 2025. The South African government will transfer Child Support Grant and other grant payments on April 5, 2025.
