Ethiopian students, who achieved outstanding results in examinations and got scholarships from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), have received a warm welcome in Abu Dhabi.
Earlier this year, 273 Ethiopian students took the 12th grade national exam. They scored good marks in examinations and received scholarships from the Emirates. Their results were recognized by various universities in the UAE.
Around 273 students received high scores in the Ethiopian National School Leaving Exam. Subsequently, the UAE government granted them a scholarship.
Abiy Ahmed Ali, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, thanked the UAE leadership for providing scholarship to Ethiopian students. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also lauded the Ethiopian students for achieving outstanding results.
Abiy Ahmed urged students to pursue their studies in reputed universities in the UAE. The students also expressed their excitement after getting the UAE scholarship.
All the 273 students, who were awarded scholarships, received a warm welcome in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. Abu Dhabi and other universities congratulated the students.
As the UAE’s efforts to provide a well-rounded educational experience to these students, UAE welcomed these students for the upcoming academic year.
The UAE aims to provide an exceptional and sustainable learning environment to Ethiopian students. This scholarship can further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Ethiopia and the UAE.
As part of the preparations, various universities in the UAE have upgraded their infrastructure to help Ethiopian students. The students passed the entrance exam of the 10 universities in the UAE, proving their excellence.
The UAE universities will organize academic programs to help these students. The UAE will also hold several workshops for these students in order to help them with insights about different fields of studies.
The Ethiopian Prime Minister urged the students to study hard and seek wisdom in the UAE.
