Seychelles votes in favor of new president, parliament

The presidential election in Seychelles take centre stage in the country, as citizens all of the country are casted their vote to elect a new president and parliament. The election will span to 3 days.

A large portion of the Indian Ocean islands making up the Seychelles, a valued special first night objective renowned for white sea shores and rich vegetation, are uninhabited and the archipelago’s 98,000 occupants predominantly live on the islands of Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.

The resistance is planning to unseat officeholder president Danny Faure, in power since 2016. Faure was not chosen yet took over after his chief, James Michel, surrendered as president.

Faure is running under the United Seychelles party, which has been in power since 1977.

His principle rival is the Anglican minister Wavel Ramkalawan, who is going after the administration and lost by just 193 votes to Michel in a remarkable second round of casting a ballot in 2015.

The world at large will waiting for the outcome of this particular elections, The new president will be hoping to take the beautiful country to the next level in terms of Infastructural development.
