Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Announces Retirement After 2024 Paris Olympics

Jamaican sprint star Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, known for her incredible speed, has decided to retire after the 2024 Paris Olympics. She made this big announcement in an interview with Essence magazine. 

Fraser-Pryce is 37 years old and wants to spend more time with her family. She feels it’s time to give back to her husband and son for their support during her career.

Fraser-Pryce has had a fantastic career. She won three Olympic gold medals and ten world championships. 

She’s known for her amazing 100-meter sprints, winning gold in the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics. She also won a gold medal in the 4×100 relay at the Tokyo Olympics.
