South Sudan Set To Shift To New Time Zone

The government of South Sudan has declared that it will switch to a new time in the month of February, the new time zone is due to the country’s location on the globe. The time zone will move an hour back.

This implies that the current time will be interfered with by 60 minutes, the current 1:00 am will be set to 00:00 am, powerful first February 2021,” said Mary Hillary Wani Pitia, the Undersecretary of the country’s Ministry of Labor.

This implies that the eastern Africa nation will be in a comparative time region as Egypt, Sudan, and Malawi.

South Sudan government had recently said that the nation has not been utilizing its constant zone for long.
